What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is an FCC initiative that helps ensure households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more.
The benefits include:
- A discount of up to $30/month toward your internet service.
- A discount of up to $75/month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.
- A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer purchased through a participating provider.
Who is eligible for the program?
Your household may be eligible if a member meets at least one of the following criteria:
- Your income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- You participate in assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, SSI, Lifeline, or Federal Public Housing Assistance.
- You participate in Tribal-specific programs (e.g., Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance or Tribal TANF).
- You are approved for the free or reduced-price school lunch or breakfast program.
- You received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year.
How can I check my eligibility for the Affordable Connectivity Program?
Apply with the FCC
Visit ACPBenefit.org to submit your application online or print out a mail-in form. If you need assistance over the phone, you can call the FCC directly at 877-384-2575.
Notify DTS Fiber
Once you receive your approval, contact us to select your internet plan. We will verify your status and apply the monthly discount directly to your account.

For 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee Small Business and Residential Customers of Fiber internet service only:
- Monthly recurring service and wire maintenance charges
- Equipment charges (refund/credit is subject to timely equipment return in accordance with DTS Fiber’s Terms of Service/Policies for the applicable service)
- Notice must be provided before the end of 30 days of active service
Term Agreements for Small Business and Residential Customers:
- DTS provides most clients a month-to-month service unless promotional offers are used, or buildout costs are higher than a typical turn-up. All quotes and proposals will include terms if selected.
- All Enterprise clients will have a term within their agreement.
- DTS agrees to a 12-month commitment to all prices unless provided via the quote or attached terms of service.
Promotional Offers:
- All price matching or discounts will not increase for a period of 24 months, unless the proposal or quote provides details.
- Free months of service will be followed by a term agreement of 12 months for all Small Business and Residential Customers or a contract with longer terms.
- Enterprise one-month free is followed by terms agreed per service agreement or proposal.
- Free installation is included unless the quote provides a one-time NRC fee.
